Windows 10: Laptop not turning on

    Laptop not turning on


    Is there any way i can troubleshoot a laptop that won’t turn on? My work laptop won’t turn on all of a sudden and i need it for work asap. I tried removing the battery and connecting it to the outlet but it still won’t turn on.

    I just had this battery replaced a few months ago so it’s pretty new.

    Fyi, this isn’t the first time it happened to me where a hardware won’t turn on. I use an IP phone at home (I’m doing work from home right now) and just one day when i plugged it in, it stopped working and wouldn’t power on...not sure if this is a coincidence but it all happens at the same time right before i work at 2pm. The device completely stops working- like it got fried or something. But the thing is...they are both connected to a voltage regulator. Il

    laptop LCD not turning on..

    Here is a tip is you cant fix it, make it noticeable that you broke it...step on it *Wink Laptop not turning on ;) "Oh my gawd, did i step on your lil ol laptop, im terribly sorry" Then she has no choice but to buy a new one.

    My hp laptop wont turn on

    This is a frequent problem am sure as you have already seen from online searches.

    Flea power is usually the culprit here, basically its residual power that remains on the computer even after thecomputer has been shutdown. You can drain the flea power with the steps the other answers have suggested.

    • Disconnecting the battery and adapter
    • Press the hardpress the power button for 30 seconds
    • This should clear the flea power

    If this doesnt work, read this article its about
    a dell inspiron     but the same applies for you hp. It has some detailed step by step instructions
