Windows 10: Laptop not working after update.

Another post about a laptop failing after a Windows 10 update.

Update was fully completed and was left with a black screen after logging into windows.

Windows.exe was not showing in task manager, tried to force it to start and then restart but nothing.

Tbh it wasn't letting me do much. It told me I couldn't uninstall updates when I tried that

Just finished a second formatting of the laptop and now I just have a blue screen saying wait a moment. I've read this lasts for about 15 mins for other people but mine isn't going anywhere.

I'm trying to get back to the trouble shoot as I do have a copy of Windows on a USB but I can't even do that. You get the Acer load up and then the blue screen.

Last time I was in the troubleshoot I couldn't do anything as the user was set to defualtuser0 and I couldn't find help online to get past that.

And this is where I'm stuck.

Any help would be fantastic.

Really, you should be getting a list of laptops you like the look of, narrowing it down and then asking on here which is best.

Asking people for suggestions really doesn't work well as most people only have experience with 1-2 laptops at a time.

Searching all the shopping sites and creating a list for you is a lot of work.

You need to do the work and we can help with the rest.
