Windows 10: Laptop NVIDIA GeForce Card - Dedicated Memory

Anything in bold is copy pasted from information elsewhere.

NIVIDIA GeForce GT 750m

Systemrequirementslab.com sometimes spits at me that I have 3gb or 4gb dedicated video memory on my card, and sometimes 1gb.

So I dediced to find out myself.

Start -> Run -> Msinfo32 -> Components -> Display:

I have 2.
One is obviously my Intel HD Graphics 4600
"Adapter RAM 1.00 GB (1,073,741,824 bytes)"
1 GB on the intel HD graphics sounds about right?

And the other is my NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M
"Adapter RAM (1,048,576) bytes"


What's going on here msinfo32 suggests my card has 1 MB of memory?
This laptop's graphics card should have 3 GB or 4 GB dedicated video memory.

Am I misunderstanding how my system memory is used? Does it somehow use some of that ram as dedicated memory to my card as well? I haven't changed any settings nor know how to.

Ok this is looking more reasonable? What is lying to me and why?

Can someone explain to me please. I'm rather tech savvy usually with myself under going study for ICT, mainly networking etc.
Any explanation would help greatly thanks. Or directions to help change or fix what ever is going on if it's not correct.

Windows 10 and graphics

The message I received was "unable to install Windows 10 as graphic card not compatible ,see manufacturer" This is the info on my card: NVIDIA

Originally windows said this was good, now it is rejecting it

 

Dedicated memory not showing.

I'm using windows 10 Pro 64- bit on my laptop. I have 2GB dedicated NVidia VGA card that installed. But in few days these memory not showing as dedicated memory. But it says "no problem found", " working properly". NVidia driver also up-to date. how I solve
this error.

 

The first screen shot suggests to me that the GT 750 has 4 gigs of onboard (dedicated) RAM and is using (sharing) 8 gigs of system RAM for a total of 12 gigs. Why it says 1 gig in system info I don't know? It might be its actually using the Intel graphics when you opened it. It's switchable graphics. Unless you forced it to use the NVidia GPU it may be using the Intel? You would think it would say Intel at the top though?

Yeah it's very peculiar, I can of course start applications with which one I wish to use, and the difference is apparent so must be fine. Just a bit odd, just want to make sure I'm getting the best of what I got, rather than selling myself short.
