  1. laptop only playing audio in the left earbud

Hi laptop only playing audio in the left earbud :)

for the last two hours, i have been endlessly searching and trying everything to fix this problem, but to no avail. it works perfectly fine on my phone, ive tried multiple headphones, the audio otherwise sounds normal.

it just wont play in in my right earbud and im desperate.
i cant get my laptop to recognize my headphones as a device, i turned on stereo mix, ive even taken out the battery. ive read multiple forums, tried every option, and nothing works.

im praying to any holy god in the heavens that one of u has a solution that will actually work.

    thanks!!

    :)

  2. Troubles with Sound Output on Windows 10

So I was recently given an HP laptop as a gift, and I've been having some minor issues with it relating to the sound output.

I can't quite remember how I got it to work before, but I used to be able to just plug in my earbuds into the 3.5 mm jack and it would work perfectly fine, but now, the audio will just play through the speakers, even if my earbuds are plugged in. This started
to happen after I purchased some over-ear headphones that plug into a USB slot instead of a headphone jack. Oh, and additionally, the USB headset appears as a playback device in the Sound manager, but my normal earbuds don't.

I've tried updating my audio driver, uninstalling and reinstalling it, changing my playback devices, and all that. The only time anything happened was when I reinstalled Realtek HD Audio, and sound started to come through my headphones, except it would also
come out of the speakers. So I figured I should try updating it, and it brought me back to square one, with no audio coming out of my earbuds and only audio coming out of the speakers.

The current audio driver on the laptop is Realtek High Definition Audio 6.0.1.7743, and the laptop model, according to HP's website (but I couldn't find anything helpful there either), is an HP Notebook - 15z-ba000 CTO (Energy Star), I'm not sure what else
to do. Any advice is appreciated, thank you!

Earbud audio problem thing (I think it has to do with pop up dialog box)

In Christmas 2016, I got this laptop. I plugged in my Apple earbuds, and it worked fine. Audio played great. I come home, and I plug in my headphones. Works great. Sometimes I plug in my earbuds. Works great. Whatever. After a couple of days I find the
pop up dialog box annoying, if that's the incorrect term, then the pop up that comes up when you plug a thing in to the audio jack. About two months ago, my headphones broke, and I tried to use my earbuds. (Keep in mind, my headphones worked great before they
broke. I also tested the audio on my phone, so the headphones were broken, its not my computer.) When plugging in my earbuds, the audio was terrible. If I plug it into my phone, the audio is great. So my earbuds work. When I plug it into my computer, sometimes
I hear the speakers, sometimes I hear a really quiet sound (even turning my volume up to 100, it barely plays sound.) I feel like this has to do with the pop up dialog box. If anyone has any answers, or I'm completely wrong and this has nothing to do with
the pop up dialog box, please post. (I'm getting new headphones for Christmas, and they're expensive so I want this to be fixed so the audio works good.) Also sorry about the title, I didn't know what to put.

have you tried 2 pin type earphone/headset? *the one with only left and right, no mic*
have you tried installing the ORIGINAL driver for that laptop? *not the updated one the original driver that is installed to that laptop*
