Windows 10: Laptop only runs when plugged in to power supply

I have acer aspire A715-76G laptop one year old. Laptop runs only when plugged to power supply, when I remove the charge, it turns off within minutes or some time instantly. It charges properly and has sufficient battery percentage. Today I tried to charge it 100 percentage and after using 20 minutes battery percentage become 84 and laptop shutdown.

Plugged In, Not Charging

Sometimes depending on your Windows 10 Build, your battery will not charge to 100%, this extends the life of your battery . . . plug out the laptop, drain the battery for 10 - 15 minutes, plug it back in and see if it starts to charge the battery

If however, your battery is not charging at all in Windows 10, follow these steps to rectify this issue:

• Disconnect Power Supply
• Remove battery
• Connect Power Supply
• Turn on the laptop
• Control Panel - Device Manager
• Under the Batteries category, right-click all instances of Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control Method Battery , and Uninstall
• Shutdown
• Disconnect Power Supply
• Insert battery
• Connect Power Supply
• Turn on the laptop

A power bank made specifically for laptop computers will plug into the same port on the laptop that the AC adapter does. The power bank you have listed will not work as it only provides a USB outlet/outputs. It does not supply the voltage nor the proper connector to plug into your laptop's power supply port.

• What was the last thing you have done on your computer before this issue happened?

Since this issue occurs every time you connect or disconnect the computer to the power supply, we suggest you run the Power troubleshooter. To do this, follow the steps below:

• On the Start menu, type Troubleshooting.
  
• On the left-side, click View all.
  
• Select Power and run the troubleshooter.
