    Laptop Overheating and Lagspikes Issues While Gaming


    Hi,I’m having trouble with my laptop when playing games. My processor gets extremely hot, and every 20-30 seconds, the fan suddenly goes to full speed. When this happens, my game starts lagging badly and frames start dropping,screen freezes and like that etc, which is making it almost impossible to play properly.Here are my system specs:OS: Microsoft Windows 11 Pro Version 10.0.22631 Build 22631Laptop Model: Dynabook G83/HSProcessor: 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1135G7 @ 2.40GHz, 4 cores, 8 logical processorsRAM: 16GB Total physical memory: 15.6 GBBIOS Version: 8.60 7/19/2023I’d appreciate any

    Overheating issue in Inspiron 5518

    My Inspiron 5518 model is having an overheating issue during 15-30 mins of casual gaming. The manufacturer has provided several troubleshooting steps ,yet the problem is not solved. I requested them not to update drivers frequently as there may be a software issue causing the laptop to overheat. in a short span of time. I request you to assist me on this matter.

    Overheating Issue, I Think.

    Thanks for the suggestions guys/gals but i don't think i'm ready for a whole new computer, i just wanted to fix the issue of overheating but i am pretty sure that i would be getting a new video card near november but i was also planning to get a macbook for a laptop.
