My laptop doesn't connect to projector (unsupport signal error)

Typically this message you are seeing just means the resolution being sent out over the cable is not one that the project supports. I'd try this:

• Right-click the desktop and choose Display Settings
• Click identify to figure out which screen number is the laptop and which is the projector
• Click the projector's screen number in the top preview area, then adjust the resolution to something universally accepted like 1024x768, then click apply.
• Give the projector 30 seconds or so to sync to the new resolution and see if it shows up.
