Laptop randomly going to sleep/shutting down

So I've got a monitor hooked up to my laptop with it's lid closed, and sometimes it just goes to sleep/shuts down without crashing out of the blue even though I completely disabled sleep mode.Specs:https://spec-ify.com/profile/c673c52e

  2. Windows 10 laptop randomly shuts downs or sleeps

My mom has an HP Pavilion dv7-6185us laptop with the latest Win10 Home installed. She uses it to do her accounting work. We didn't use it before (had an HDD and RAMs missing), but a month ago I got two RAM sticks and an SSD on a deal, assembled them to the laptop and installed Win10, activated it with a valid license and it was good to go. It has been a week or so that the laptop shuts down or goes to sleep unexpectedly. It happens very randomly. I once left it turned on for 5 hours next to my PC and nothing happened, but other times it shuts down while mom is working on it, or within hours of being turned on, happens randomly. I've Googled around common solutions and changed power settings etc. on Windows but it doesn't seem like to help. Is there a software to record the PC running and when it shuts down it can tell me the reason why it shut down?

  4. Laptop randomly going to sleep/shutting down

Computer shuts down instead of going in to sleep mode

Since two weeks my Dell laptop is shutting down every time when:

    • Closing the laptop
    • Pressing the power button short
    • Manually via the Start Menu
All these options are set to Sleep Mode and not Shut Down.
