Windows 10: Laptop randomly lags after working fine for hours

So, my laptop has been randomly freezing and doesn’t unfreeze. I can open the lap too and work on it just fine for hours until it randomly starts lagging really bad, my entire computer lags! It lags so bad I have to shut it down if I want it to finally work right, I even notice that the fan, while it’s still on, is barely audible. I’ve deleted so many things off my computer, ran many diagnostics, and even stayed off of it for a while to prevent this but it’s been doing this for MONTHS! I just want to know what’s wrong with it. Yes all the drivers are up to date, the laptop is up to date in upd

Laptop randomly lags

As mentioned in the title, my 2 year old laptop has started to lag randomly, and it does not revert back to normal by itself. A few weeks ago this happened too but it was easily fixed by doing a forced restart. But now, even with a forced restart, it starts
lagging, even on startup.

My performance settings are on best performance. I tried clean boot, it's still lagging upon startup. Any solutions would be appreciated.

 

Laptop keyboard randomly lags(?)

As the title states the keyboard of my laptop randomly stops working and there doesn't seem to be a pattern on when this happens as well. The mouse and everything else works though. I say lag because it stops working, but when you plug in an external keyboard everything that you've been typing when it lagged just suddenly starts inputting rapidly (like when a game lags the screen freezes then when it comes back to normal everything fast forwards to the present). If the keyboard really died I don't think it should behave this way.

Anyone know on why this happens and a way to fix it? I don't always bring an external keyboard with me so when it happens during that time I have no option but to restart... And yes W10 & all the drivers are updated to the latest version. No viruses/malware either from scans.

 

Laptop keyboard randomly stops working.

My laptop keyboard randomly stops working. The only way to get it back to work is by a hard reset (press the power button to shut off the laptop or navigate in the system and press shut down). The it will work for an undetermined amount of time (it could be few minutes, hours, days or even week) and then randomly stop working again. Sometimes it happens multiple times a day. I have the BIOS updated to the latest version. Any suggestions how I can fix this problem as it is extremely frustrating.

My laptop is Dell XPS 9380. I contacted Dell and they want to replace the keyboard. It is clearly not a hardware issue. Please advise if there is a way to fix this problem.
