Windows 10: Laptop reboots itself after an overnight sleep.

So I have been experiencing this problem with my laptop lately, where I would leave my laptop sleep overnight and open the next morning. But when I opened, the screen turns black, lights from the laptop is still blinking, usually, the screen would just greet me and ask for my pin. After waiting for 10 mins or so, the laptop reboots itself, closing all my opened apps with it.


Does anyone experience the same issue here?

Really hate to ask but what is SB? Sound Blaster comes to mind.

Thank you for your reply. I have tried the two steps (turning of Hybrid sleep and Fast startup) you suggested but to no avail. Okay, for your two questions:

1. My laptop is a HP Pavilion 14-bf101tx, and currently running Windows 10 1903 (upgrading from 1809).
2. Nope. No error messages. I suppose the boot process was successful, however, my battery was reduced. That's why I suggest the post title as "Hibernating changes to sleep behaviour" because the battery level reduction looks like sleep behaviour.

Please inform me of any diagnostics information you might need. Thank you for your kind assistance.

 

Win10 Laptop Not Observing Power Sleep Settings After Being On Overnight

I have a fully updated Win10 laptop. My laptop screen started going black and requires me to log in after 1 minute of inactivity, which is very annoying. BTW, I haven't installed or deleted any software; only updated current software. I went to Settings>System>Power
& Sleep and changed all four options for "on battery" and "plugged in" to "NEVER." And I turned "off" my screensaver. My laptop screen would still go black and require me to log in after 1 minute of inactivity.

I restarted my laptop and it follows the settings in "Power & Sleep." If however, I leave my laptop on overnight, it reverts back to turning the screen black after 1 minute of inactivity, regardless of the settings in "Sleep & Power." It will only behave
once I've restarted my laptop.

I regularly (weekly) update and run scans with Kaspersky, Malwarebytes and Windows Defender. They all report no unusual activity. I also ran the Windows Defender "offline" scan, which restarts your system, runs a Defender scan, then finishes the restart.

What advice or suggestions do you have for me?
