Windows 10: Laptop refreshes every time I select a .zip file From Downloads Folder

Since updating to Windows 10 and then 11 I've had several problems with my laptopThis latest problem is actually making it hard to useWhenever I download a .zip file I am unable to access it because as soon as it is clicked on it refreshes my laptop. This only ever happens in the downloads folder, because I have tried having it saved somewhere else when downloadedIt only affects.zip files as well because any other type of file is just fine and I can interact with it normallyThe only way I have found to be able to even access any zip files in my downloads folder is to have to select multiple fi

just go to the root folder and do a search for all zip files, then select all and extract where you want.

I have like 30 or more folders and everyone of them has only one single zip file.
How can I extract all zip files inside of all folders?

 

Windows 10 File or folder Zip feature

I tried to compress a folder containing 15+ files. When I right clicked on the folder, moved to Send To, a selection for Bluetooth was the only option displayed. I repeated this step several times and then the listing included the file compression option,
so I was able to zip the folder.

I needed to zip another set of similar files. This time only the Bluetooth option displayed after right clicking on the folder, to view the available options listed under Send To.

Does anyone have any idea what is wrong and how I can fix it?
