Windows 10: Laptop requires me to turn on only with plugged in condition, it won't turn on without...

I recently found out that my laptop isn't turning on when I am at a coffee shop to do some assignments. I thought that the battery was on zero percent, so I try to turn it on with charger, and it turned on. But the battery is 100%, not 0%. I try to unplug the charger after the laptop turn on and it can run on battery as usual. Then, I try to turn off my laptop and turning back on without charger, but the laptop doesn't want to turn on and only turns on only with the charger plugged. Is there any solution that I should do before I considering referring to the service center for hardware changes

laptop won't turn on

few hours ago i turned the laptop off by going to start menu, shut down, on an xp machine. the computer shut down normally but now when i try to turn it back on, nothing happens for a good 30 seconds then the HDD lights and power lights come on for a few seconds then turn off.

it's weird becasue, from what i have seen, the lights usually come on right away then turn right off (in similar situations) but this thing doesn't even try to turn on for a bit. What could be wrong?

things i have tried:
-removed RAM, battery, wireless card, HDD... nothing happens
-held power button for 10 seconds with battery in and out of machine while and while nt plugged in
-Different power adapters

i am going to check the cmos battery but if anyone has any suggestions it would be appreciated.

 

Laptop won't Turn On

Someone came to me with an HP 2000 laptop that won't turn on. Luckily I had the same model laptop in working condition, so naturally I tried replacing out the battery and cord power supply to rule those out. The laptop still won't turn on, any ideas? I've already tried holding down the power button with everything removed.
