    Laptop running at 100% **** and CPU


    Over the last couple of months my laptop have increasingly started being more sluggish on start-up, opening simple programmes and even when idling with no programmes opened by myself. Some days it maxes out the CPU others the disk but I would say it will usually max out the disk usage.I have tried a couple of fixes;Virus scanDefragmentInstall latest updates of windows and drivesThe only fix that had any effect was updating to the latest windows but after half a day it started maxing out the disk and CPU again but with the added problem of the laptop speaker crackling during playback of sound.A

    CPU usage is at 100% and nothing is running.

    For the past week my laptop CPU has been running at 100%. I did a complete system reset and yet it is still running at 100% all the time. I have done countless of time troubleshooting and have no clue what the problem is. This laptop is new within the year.
    My cpu is a intel core i5 7th gen. Can someone please help me figure this out? Thanks a bunch!

    CPU running at 100% after update to Win 10 build 1909

    Hi,

    After updating to Win 10 build 1909 my CPU is nearly always running at 100%.

    My laptop is a Sony VAIO SVF1531C5e, with an Intel Core i5-4200U CPU @ 1.60GHz.

    When I look in Task Manager nothing seems to be massively hogging the CPU and the programs running don't add up to 100% either.

    Any ideas on how to fix as my Laptop was running OK before the update?

    I bought new gaming laptop yesterday, everything is oki except CPU

    it always reached at 100% and 64c degrees, tried with fan built in laptop got 27c degrees but CPU still 100%

    i use win 10 64OS
