I transferred photos from a Windows 11 pc onto an sd card micro sd with the adapter but I am unable to view them on my windows 10 laptop. Is there a way to view and transfer photos from my sd card created by Win11 to my Win10 laptop? I can still view them on the Win11 pc, but card appears empty when I try to view the photos on my laptop.So, photos on Win11 pc transferred to micro sd card, I can view them on the Win11 pc. I want to transfer the photos from that sd card onto my Win10 laptop.I guess there is no more plug and play anymore.Would I have the same type of issue if I connected my

Transferring data from laptop to micro sd card

Hi,

To help you in transferring the files from your PC to your SD card, follow the steps below:

• Connect the micro SD card reader to your computer.
• Plug the micro SD card into the card reader.
• Open the folder that contains files you want to transfer to the SD card.
• Select the files, press and hold "Ctrl" and then, click the files that you want to transfer. Or press "Ctrl + A" to select all the files in the folder.
• Press "Ctrl + C" to copy the files.
• Choose a drive on your SD card and open the folder where you want to store the files.
• Press "Ctrl + V" to paste the files.
• Wait until all files are transferred then, remove the micro SD card from the card reader.

I suggest you to check the size of the SD drive and the size of the image in the SD drive. If there is any change in the size, the images might be hidden. So I suggest you to unhide the hidden files by following the steps below.

• Right click on the Start icon and select Command Prompt (Admin).
• Type/(copy and paste) the command below:

attrib –h –r -s /s /d D:*.* (Replace the Last letter "D" by the drive letter as per the system

assigned for your flash drive)

3. Type Exit and press Enter.

Now open the SD card and check for the status.

Unable to read SDHC card in windows 10 laptop


Hi All,

The SanDisk ultra 16 GB class 10 card that I use with my camera was working fine with my Lenovo Z50-70 (OS - Win 10) laptop till last week. One fine day it stopped reading the card and since then I have not been able to read the card transfer any files or pictures. The card works fine with other windows 7 laptops and my laptop is able to read other camera SD cards. Am at a fix here and I am wondering what can be the cause for concern here. I have formatted my Lenovo laptop and have reinstalled windows and its drivers from the Lenovo support site which obviously didn’t help. Any suggestions would be welcome.
