Windows 10: Laptop says “This sign-in option is disabled”

Hi, a couple of days ago I tried to sign into my laptop and the message “This sign-in option is disabled because of failed sign-in attempts or repeated shutdowns. Use a different sign-in option, or keep your device powered on for at least 2 hours and then try again.“ popped up. Over the course of a few days i’ve tried literally every solution. I can’t even click ‘I forgot my pin’ because once I do, it loads for a few seconds, and then goes back to the same old message. I’ve tried the advanced troubleshooting, but it asks to enter the password to my email, which wouldn’t be a problem, except fo

I’ve tried to leave it on for 2 hours, but then I entered the correct pin twice and it went back to the original message. I don’t know what to do anymore. I really rather not take it in to a repair shop. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

First, please check if you are able to login in Safe Mode with Windows Networking.

In the Windows recovery environment, have you tried leaving the password blank to proceed?

Hold down the SHIFT key and restart your computer to access the Windows Recovery Environment.

After that, try to restore it to a date before the problem if you have.

Restore the System to an earlier date:

Click Troubleshooting> Advanced Options> System Restore, choose a date and proceed with the restoration steps.

Unfortunately, if this is not possible, the only option will be to perform a factory reset using a Windows installation USB, keeping the personal files, in order to reconfigure it and resume access.
