Windows 10: Laptop Screen doesnt turn on after opening lid, many times i hit keys mouse pad then it...

I tried Power Options "when i close the lid what shud happen", but it solves the problem temporarily and all the time

when i close the lid , (even when i set up that do nothing when i close lid in control panel) then also after opening lid the display is blank, black and doesnot active on even after hitting a key or mousepad touch .


After several strokes of Vol + Vol - on my HP Notebook Pavilion x360 , Display turns on , which is very strange !


Why the Win10 reacts to many key strokes not single stroke or lid opening.


I saw the sol. on this website as some BIOS fix of LCD, but i cannot tweak untill and unless it is microsoft certified solution or solution from microsoft windows certified employee/partner !


Someone says tweak bios setting, but if something happens bad, then i will have to pay for re-setting the win10 i.e installation


So Please Give some good solution

Please reply: What happens when you try disabling the mouse pad? Do you receive any error message?

You can also disable your mouse pad by following the steps below:

• Press Windows key + X key and click Device Manager.
• Expand the Mice and other pointing devices.
• Right-click on the Mouse driver and click on Disable.
• A prompt will appear, click yes.

I would also suggest you update the driver from the device manager.

Touchpad getting re-enabled after closing and opening the lid on Windows 10 laptop.

Asus G74sx Laptop Win10

Unlike others who can't disable my touch pad I can, but when I close the lid on my laptop the touch pad re-enables when I open the lid. Then both the touch pad and mouse are enabled. Causing the same consternation many others have. I never use the the touch
pad, all it does is cause me unnecessary grief when it functions when least expected. If I remove and replace the dongle for the mouse then the touch pad turns off again.

So does anyone know how to permanently disable my touch pad or insure that it is disabled at all times when the mouse dongle is in place?
