    Laptop screen has gone really dark


    My laptop screen has gone super dark overnight. I have the brightness turned up to max via the functions keys and still too dark. I've also tried a hard restart on the laptop well holding down power for 15 seconds before turning back on It's so dark - it takes me a while to find the cursor on the screen. I did start using an additional monitor last week, but everything was working fine. And now it is mega dark whether or not other monitor is plugged in. Completely flummuxed as to what to do. I'd appreciate some help.

    Laptop with broken screen How much?

    I would like suggestions and look in local stores. I dont wanna buy a laptop from someone online. Sorry. But could be a good idea if you asked him about the performance on older games. Gonna make a list ofall laptops people suggest me.

    Remove the screen for space purpose here its small desk and if the screen is opened it will hide my 22 inches lcd

    My Computer has gone dark after upgrading to Windows 10

    Original title: Computer gone dark

    I have a Toshiba Satelite C850'laptop fitted with 8.1. I was offered the upgrade last night and took it thinking it is agood thing. Followed all the steps carefully, told me it will be a while but worth the wait, then its taking longer than ussual but it
    will be worth the wait. Them my machine went dark. I have legt it for several hours to come back to a dark machine. I have tried to reboot, nothing, an hour later of looking at a dark screen i was asked if i wanted to turn on filter keys. All my work is saved
    to One, did not make a reboot disk. What now? Expensive repairs at a dealer and never the same machine again? I am probably the first really disgruntled person with Window 10 in the world, am genuinely regretting that i succumded to the upgrade.

    Laptop screen has gone really dark

    The Screen's C5 is dark

    just check that the phone hasn't gone into power saver mode which makes the screen really dark.



    Press the power key once and then scroll down and see if there is a menu item "Deactivate Power saving mode"
