Windows 10: Laptop screen turns very dim

Hello, everyone. I’m hoping someone here can help me with an issue I’m experiencing with my laptop, an Asus A15 FA506IHR. Recently, the screen suddenly became very dim when I tried to turn it on. I need to use a flashlight just to see the display.When I plug in the charger, the screen sometimes goes back to normal, and I can see everything clearly. However, after a few minutes, it dims again, even while plugged in. If I unplug the charger, the screen becomes dim again, and when I plug it back in, it doesn’t always return to normal. Sometimes, I have to wait around 30 minutes before trying agai

Laptop with broken screen How much?

I would like suggestions and look in local stores. I dont wanna buy a laptop from someone online. Sorry. But could be a good idea if you asked him about the performance on older games. Gonna make a list ofall laptops people suggest me.

Remove the screen for space purpose here its small desk and if the screen is opened it will hide my 22 inches lcd

 

Dim screen Win 10?

Have read the blogs. Windows 10 needs to make it EASY for people to dim their screen. This is my 3rd Toshiba laptop and it was easy to adjust the screen on all 3 including this one, until windows 10. Will buy a new laptop without Win 10 before I'll go
through all the steps to dim screen in win 10 that is listed in the blogs I've read. I did stall an APP that helped but screen still hurts my eyes and creates a headache. Anybody have an EASY answer. It was so easy to work with DOS and windows 3.1. It's been
a pain for a lot of people ever since they came up with the REGISTRY. Thanks people.

 

Screen turns dim after 40 seconds, goes black a minute after that. Dell Laptop running Windows 10.

After approximately 40 seconds of inactivity, my laptop’s screen will go dim, and then one minute after dimming the screen will turn off becoming black. However, if I touch the keyboard or touchpad before the screen turns off, the screen will lighten back up to its original brightness. Interestingly, when watching a video on a platform such as YouTube, the screen will not dim after 40 seconds of inactivity.

I have turned off adaptive brightness, set the screen and sleep timer to “never,” and edited the power plan. None of these fixes have worked.

My laptop is a Dell Latitude 5320, running Windows 10 Pro edition, version 22H2. If I am missing any important information, please ask for it.
