    Hello,

    my question is, is there a way that you can start a win10 laptop only at certain times and then switch itself off after a certain time.

    e.g. the laptop can be started daily from 14-17 o'clock. Not before and not after, unless you have an unlock password.

    the meaning behind it is simple. I don't want my son hanging around on his laptop all day because of the current situation. Since my wife and I work full time (shift) it is not possible for us to monitor this.

    is there a solution?

    Really, you should be getting a list of laptops you like the look of, narrowing it down and then asking on here which is best.

    Asking people for suggestions really doesn't work well as most people only have experience with 1-2 laptops at a time.

    Searching all the shopping sites and creating a list for you is a lot of work.

    You need to do the work and we can help with the rest.
