  1. Laptop showing incorrect password after rebooting after enabling safe boot option in windows 10

My laptop was functioning a little slower so i searched how to make ssd faster and enabled safe boot option under msconfig and after applying the selected option and rebooting it shows incorrect password and even not connecting to wifi network. My laptop and even microsoft account password is not working there. My laptop has a pin protection but it is now showing password field there. I have tried the safe boot option and on screen keyboard and several times rebooting too.

    :)

  3. Incorrect Password Safe Boot

In some cases Windows may remember the very first password entered during installation and ask for it during safe mode without network.

Wireless connection may be unavailable during safe boot due to safe boot limitations - only limited list of drivers is loaded. Can you use wire network connection?

    Password incorrect

How do I get out of safe mode so I can reset my settings?

    1. Press Windows + R keys to open Run command.
    2. Type msconfig and press Enter.
    3. In the window, click on Boot tab.
    4. uncheck Safe boot, click on Apply and Ok. Restart
Not sure why it started in Safe mode. May have been out of sync with your phone from prev incorrect password. See if restart fixes. At least, you know what your universal MS password is. *Wink
