Windows 10: Laptop shutdown right after drivers update and windows update version 1909 installation.

Hi, there please urgently assist me here.


I was working on my laptop Dixon brand what i did was to upgrade the laptop to windows 10 pro. And update drivers after the system suggests the latest version of windows 10 1909 and i download and installed. Here is the problem starting.


"Pending restart "

I was suggested to restart the laptop


Upon restart the system says


" wait while windows install updates "


It took a while and i saw some information appearing is drops and at end it says press any button to restart. I pressed the button and the system went off forever. I tried to force shutdown the laptop it does not turn on. Screen remains darkblack my LED light it on. I can not accept the BIOS settings or book from USB or anything of that source. I can not even install another version of windows at all. The screen does not show anything or any writings. Not even a repair option nothing. I need help because have started to frikeout now it been 2 days.

Quick Tip: Easily Shutdown or Restart WITHOUT Installing Updates.

I'm sure I'm not the only one that has been in the situation of needing to shutdown a computer quickly, but there are updates waiting to install. Previous to Windows 8 you could at least restart without being forced to install the updates, and if you are quick you could hit the power button when the computer begins to POST and the computer will turn off. With Windows 8, now even restarting forces you to install the updates. You could use the cmd and Shutdown.exe to shutdown the machine, but I'm getting old and try to avoid the command prompt as much as possible.

Anyway, the easy way I've found to Shutdown or Restart without being forced to install the updates is to hit Ctrl+Alt+Del and use the power button in the bottom right on the screen that comes up. For whatever reason, this power button is the only one I've found in Windows 7/8 that gives the option to Shutdown or Restart without installing the updates.

Thought I'd share.

 

Windows 7 wont install drivers

i dont think anyone here understands what your asking either when its nearly a 90% english dominated Tech forum.
Step 1
reinstall windows from scratch
Step 2
install all drivers from the cd that came with the god damn motherboard *common sense*
Step 3
update windows
Step 4
install misc etc crap like flash java etc etc
Step 5
Install GPU drivers
Step 6
go back to using your pc without issue.

 

Windows Updates failed to instal

I just did step one and they have just all installed.... thank you so much.... it was quite frustrating having that update window pop up every 5 minutes and failing to instal every time
