Windows 10: Laptop Shutting Down Randomly - Dell XPS 13 9310

My Dell XPS 13 9310 has been shutting down randomly on its own. The laptop will just turn off. I am plugged into a Dell Dock power and ethernet internet connection and I have a full battery charge. I believe I have all updates. Note, my laptop Wireless will not turn on after having to completely reimage my laptop. Dell xps13 9310 random shutdown/crashes

Hi there, long time user of dell's computers but lately finding it really difficult, currently using the xps 13 9310 and the system randomly shuts off / crashes cant tell which, really frustrating as it's out of warranty as well and is properly annoying, I used to simply put up with it but is become to frustrating now. Laptop seems to shutdown less frequently when connected to power if that's any consolation and have done all of the most recent win 11 updates (issue happend before upgrading to win 11)

Any help about this matter would be incredible many thanks.

 

Dell XPS 13 9310, Killer AX500-DBS

I have a Dell XPS 13 9310 with a Killer AX500-DBS Network Adapter. At some point a few weeks ago the adapter became disabled. One minute it worked fine and was connected to my home router, the next it was disabled.

I've performed every test or procedure I can find, have read every forum describing the same or similar issue as mine, and had multiple techs at Microsoft check drivers, settings, etc. Intel is currently checking the issue to see if there is a fix.

To sum it up, the wifi adapter is unable to connect in Windows, the toggle in every module is nonfunctional. (You click on Turn on WiFi and it flips back off immediately.) Bluetooth works.

The laptop has been reset to a factory OS Windows 10 install, and upgraded with a fresh Windows 11 install. All drivers for the adapter have been updated. Network Reset has been performed. BIOS and Chipset have been updated.

Dell has a remote BIOS Flash function that will allow the adapter to enable, function, and connect to my router to check for an update. Anything other than that and the adapter doesn't enable.

As far as I can tell, the adapter is physically functional, (it says so even in device manager), but there is something keeping Windows from accessing it. Some of the errors say to use a Fn or a physical switch to turn on the adapter but neither are available on my make and model.

Any ideas?
