Windows 10: Laptop shutting itself and then the charging indicator still turning on after unplugged and...

My laptop suddenly turned off while I was working on it, I try to unplug the charger but it seems like the charging indicator still turning on even after it's unplugged Model laptop : Asus-A416-EPOI really need your help right now

Laptop won't charge after unplugging, charger is fine.

Windows 10 HOME - 19041.450

Laptop : HP 250 G5 W4M71EA
BIOS VER F.45
BIOS VENDOR Insyde

Charger works fine.
Indicators show white light when turned on and orange when turned off and battery is plugged in.

Resetting BIOS settings to default makes the charger work fine until I plug it out.
After unplugging and plugging it back in it does not charge.

What can be the cause?

When closing and opening the lid laptop is detecting the charger properly but upon re plugging it's not working again.
The issue is that the laptop doesn't detect it's being charged while being turned on.

If the Battery has no charge in it and you turn the power off at the power point, the laptop will shut off.

Most Laptop manufacturers have Battery Testing software available for download available.

Thanks for the response, but the issue is not the battery or the laptop. It was charging and working fine prior to this most recent Windows 10 update.

I'm sorry, I don't understand what you're trying to say. When the charger is plugged in, it just says "plugged in", but my battery has been at 2% for the past several hours. Obviously the charger is doing something since it's holding the 2% power, but it's not charging. There has to be some day to bypass whatever this update broke.
