Windows 10: Laptop Slows Down After Waking from Sleep, High Disk Usage, and System Errors – Asus TUF...

I’m experiencing a persistent issue with my Asus TUF Gaming A15 laptop, running Windows 11. The laptop works perfectly fine when turned on from a fresh shut-down, but after it goes into sleep mode, it becomes significantly slower when waking up.Symptoms:After waking from sleep, the laptop’s performance drops drastically.Disk usage spikes, with the "SYSTEM" process consuming around 14% CPU.SSD response time increases to ~500ms.The system remains slow until I restart the laptop, at which point it returns to normal performance.The issue reoccurs every time the laptop enters sleep mode.Error Logs:

ASUS Laptop Won't Wake from Sleep Mode

Problem: about 80% of the time, my laptop won't wake up from sleep mode via keyboard press or mouse move/click. I seem to be missing many common features in power plan too, even after fresh Windows 10 install.

Troubleshooting Steps:

1. Reinstalled Windows 10 (clean)
2. Updated all drivers
3. Replicated on multiple Windows 10 versions, updates
4. BIOS latest version
5. No USB devices attached, ever. Only USB-C power and bluetooth mouse
6. Disabled "fast startup" in control panel

 

High CPU usage - system interrupts - when waking from sleep

I've noticed that the CPU has high usage, due to System Interrupts (ACPI.sys) running high after waking from sleep, and lately getting the BSoD when in this state and then using web browser, Outlook, or Word.

I have the latest Windows updates, have run the Power Troubleshooter
with no results, and I have done a Clean Boot with all startups and services turned off, including MS services. I still get the same high System Interrupts after waking from sleep.

Please advise.
