    Laptop slows down when I unplug it


    Hi,


    Recently my computer has had a significant slowdown when unplugged and I was wondering how I can speed it up. This is a new thing and I'm not sure why this is happening because I've never really had problems with my laptop when it is unplugged. I know that laptops usually slow down when unplugged to conserve battery but the slowdown right now is unbearable and really inconvenient even for doing basic stuff like typing. My laptop is windows 10 if that helps.

    Yes I did, but that didn't work either.

    How do I drain my battery? My laptop won't stay on for longer than a couple minutes when unplugged.

    Could you please list down the steps for solutions 4 and 5?

    Really sorry for the inconvenience, really appreciate the help.
