Windows 10: Laptop Stolen - How do I logout the mail app on that device?

Hey,


As title states my laptop was stolen therefore I need to deauthorize the hotmail account that was logged in using the Mail app in Windows 10 so that the person no longer receives emails.


I have logged into my Windows account on the web, changed the password, deleted the device and used the "Sign me out" function however I believe that my email are still being delivered to the device. I know this because the mail app on my desktop PC is still receiving emails even after all these steps and hasn't yet logged me out or asked for a password. Is there a way to just deauthorize everything linked to my account so that everything has to log back in?


Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

 

Mail app will not open on 10041.

I did that to no avail, then I ran WSReset.exe; now I'm good on all 3, Mail, Calendar and People! *Confused
Go figure!
