Windows 10: Laptop stops working

The service provider installed a Comfast Access Point to improve reception. My Ipads and the cell phone work better but my Laptop had problems It works well connected to the old router but as soon as I move to another room or outside it freezes and I lose the signal completely.

The mouse gets stuck, I can not close anything, or open any page

As soon as I return to the room where the router is all in fine.

The I pads and the cell phone connect to Client on the Comfast and the laptop to the old router.

The technician did not configure the Comfast. Is this the problem?

Which laptop should I buy with budget within 1000USD?

Really, you should be getting a list of laptops you like the look of, narrowing it down and then asking on here which is best.

Asking people for suggestions really doesn't work well as most people only have experience with 1-2 laptops at a time.

Searching all the shopping sites and creating a list for you is a lot of work.

You need to do the work and we can help with the rest.
