Windows 10: Laptop stuck in a preparing automatic repair loop post-update. How can I end the loop and...

The morning after updating the laptop the laptop upon being turned on gets stuck in a loop where it prepares for an automatic repair before restarting. Upon consulting similar posts I tried to access the trouble shoot and repair screen to open the laptop in safe mode. This screen is unavailable by all roots tried. This includes turning off and on three times, holding shift during start up, pressing the key binds to reach it and attempting to access it via the start up paused menu. Attempts to access the repair scene reach a recovery screen which says that the pc needs to be repaired. It says

stuck at "Preparing for the Automatic repair" loop.

Hi,

My laptop ACER ASPIRE V3-772G. is stuck at "Preparing for the Automatic repair" loop. It all happened after an incomplete update which was stuck at 98% and the laptop went unresponsive. I uninstalled the updates and system restore to a previous best point using F12. Upon contacting Acer support they advised me to use alt+F10. Even that didn't help.

Any advice is much appreciated.

I tried Everything in repair mode. Start up repair, system restore( cant click next because it says "You must enable system protection on this drive). I even tried command prompt method to restore but while restoring i get another message system restore did not complete successfully with detail message of "system restore failed while restoring the registry from the restore point 0x80070002" Please help











I Have windows 10 copy from the Microsoft website and my computer is "Asua Esstional asus essential series".
