Windows 10: Laptop Stuck On Bluetooth Not Letting Me Use Wi-Fi

I have a problem, my laptop is only letting me use Bluetooth and not Wi-Fi and I have never used Bluetooth in the year I’ve had this computer I tried going to quick settings and pressing add like I saw on a post with the same problem as me when I looked this up but when I tried fixing this I received no option for Wi-Fi I tried searching through the more advanced settings but I don’t really understand any of the options there

AirPods Disconnecting WI-FI on Windows 10

Here are a few steps you can try to fix the problem:

1. Update Drivers:
   
   • Ensure that your Bluetooth and Wi-Fi drivers are up to date. You can download the latest drivers from the manufacturer's website or use the Windows Device Manager to update your drivers.
     
2. Change Wi-Fi Band:
   
   • If your router supports it, switch your Wi-Fi connection to the 5GHz band instead of 2.4GHz. This can reduce interference since Bluetooth uses the 2.4GHz frequency.
     
3. Disable Bluetooth Collaboration:
   
   • Some network adapters have a setting that helps with the coexistence of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Go to Device Manager, find your Wi-Fi adapter under the Network adapters section, and open Properties. Under the Advanced tab, look for 'Bluetooth Collaboration' or a similar setting and disable it.
     
4. Adjust Bluetooth Power Settings:
   
   • In Device Manager, under the Bluetooth adapter’s properties, in the Power Management tab, uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power."
     
5. Change Wi-Fi Adapter Settings:
   
   • Similarly, in the Wi-Fi adapter’s properties under the Advanced tab, you might find settings that can be adjusted to improve coexistence with Bluetooth devices, like changing the "Wireless Mode" to a setting that might be more compatible with Bluetooth enabled.

Wi-Fi errors (Windows 10)

I'm currently troubleshooting a HP laptop (HP G62-a10SQ to be more specific). The problem is that it doesn't want to connect to any Wi-Fi network. It leaves me with the generic error "Can't connect to this network." I've tried these steps so far

• Restarting the computer
  
• Flushing DNS
  
• Releasing and renewing the ipconfig
  
• Uninstalling the driver
  
• Reinstalling the driver
  
• Reseating the Wi-FI module
  
• Checking Windows Update for any drivers
  
• Updating the driver in Device Manager
  
• Temporarily removing my Wi-Fi encryption
  
• Trying to connect to a different Wi-Fi network outside of my network
  
• Probably more troubleshooting steps I can't remember atm (I will edit the post if I remember anything)
