Windows 10: Laptop stuck on ‘restoring to previous version of Windows’ loop

I recently updated my laptop to the new Windows 11 24H2 update and was having a large amount of issues with loading screens and my games not running correctly/freezing. After realising that this was due to the update, I saw some guidance from Microsoft which said that you could roll back to the previous version I attempted to do this last night, however received an error stating that I needed to insert external media device and continue. I looked online and saw some guidance about having a USB with the ISO for Windows 11, and thought this would help. However the laptop does not acknowledge tha

Windows stuck on previous restoring loop

When an update to a newer version of Windows 10 is not successfully installed the device will automatically rollback to the previous version. If the device is stuck in a loop of restoring the previous version of Windows, this could be caused by system files

Stuck at the restore to previous version loop

When i start upgrading window 8.1 to 10 , after a few says of using window 10 , i having problem with window 10 . Then i wanted to restore back to window 8.1 from 10.It keep stuck at the loop on the "Attempting to restore to previous version" , even when
i hard shutdown , when i turn on the laptop , it is still looping the same thing over and over again . Please help me T.T . I cant go to safe mode or repair mode , it just keep looping . shutdown also no used.....

 

Stuck in a loop of trying to restore previous version of windows

My laptop tried to update windows 10 which it hasn’t been able to successfully do in over a year. I stopped the update by powering off the laptop because otherwise it freezes before finishing the installation. Normally this would prompt my laptop to recover
the previous version of windows and then it would be fine, but in this case it got stuck. It is stuck in an endless loop of attempting to recover the previous version of windows and crashing. I cannot do anything including booting up my laptop in safe mode.

Has anyone had this issue? What are possible steps I can take to fixing this issue?
