Windows 10: laptop stuck on the same 'repairing disk error' screen for hours.

Hello.To get this straight to the point, I'm currently fiddling around my brother's laptop. It was long since having problems, yet I was only able to take a closer look of it now.What I attached above is my brother's laptop specifications, bought at some time around 2014.And this is the problem that happened.At times, when I powered on the laptop, the text wasn't there, only the never ending spinning circles. And it went on for hours presssing Esc or F8 won't do anything.I've tried restarted the laptop by holding the power button, and when the logo came up, a "Starting Automatic Repair" text

• Which Windows build and version do you have?
• Have you made any changes to your computer prior to this issue?
• Which troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

Windows 10 Laptop stuck on "Repairing disk errors."

I got a new laptop the week after Christmas and it has been working fine until now. Yesterday, while I was using it, it froze and went to a screen that said there was an error called exclusion-store-exception, it wanted to restart, and I could look up the
error after it was finished. It then turned back on saying, Preparing Automatic Repair > it went blank for like 20 minutes > diagnosing your PC > Repairing disk errors. This might take over an hour to complete. Then it gets stuck and has been doing that for
about 8 hours. I tried turning it off and back on and it just does it all over again. If anyone has a solution to this that would be great!

My laptop model is Toshiba Satellite C55t-C5300 if that helps. Also it had windows 10 on it when I bought it.

We suggest you to repair your system using Windows 10 installation USB media and check if it corrects the problem.

Follow these steps:

• Disconnect all non-essential devices that might attached to your computer, Windows setup might be trying to detect them.
• If you connected to a network, disconnect this also.
• Download the Windows 10 ISO on a working computer and perform a startup repair:
• Click here to download the official ISO media for Windows 10.
  

After creating the USB installation media for Windows 10, follow the steps below:

      Insert the installation USB drive and boot Windows 10 from it.
      
    • 
      In the ‘Windows setup’ page select the ‘language to install’, ‘Time and currency format’ and the ‘keyboard or input method’ and click on ‘next’.
      
    • 
      Click on ‘Repair your computer’ and select ‘Troubleshoot’.
      
    • 
      Click on ‘Advanced options’ and select ‘Startup Repair’ and select the operating system.
