This is weird but let me try explaining, I was trying to update my display adapter driver which is intel because I had a pink flickering screen, It was a process of elimination mostly, In doing so I did a clean install of intel's latest drivers and then I restarted my pc and everything, I tried opening minecraft and the thing won't open so I tried to backroll or downgrade only for the thing to BSOD, Then I backrolled again and the intel driver was gone so I had to install the thing again, I did and this time minecraft works just fine, Expect it bluescreens when exiting, Well then the other tim

Laptop goes to sleep when the LID is closed while playing the game.

• Did you make any recent changes prior to the issue?
• Are you facing this issue specifically when playing the specific Game?

This issue might have caused due to the power settings for the closing of LID is set to sleep mode.

I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• Press Windows + X keys and select the Control Panel.
• Select Power options by searching in search box.
• Right side select Change Plan setting next to the power plans.
• Select the Change advanced Power plan settings.
• Under the list select and expand Power buttons and lid.
• Select Turn off the display under the drop down of setting.
• Click Apply. Ok.
• Close the LID and Check if the issue resolves.

I want to disable touchpad on Dell laptop


Hello everyone,
My laptop's touchpad works and I don't want it to, because I prefer a mouse. It's a Dell Inspiron 11 3000 series on windows 10 OS.

What I have tried that hasn't worked:

• start<settings<devices<mouse & touchpad<additional mouse options. This opens a window called Mouse Options which has 5 tabs up top, none of which involve the touchpad. The Hardware tab shows 2 devices: the mouse itself, and the USB. No touchpad there.
• windows key+x<mobility center. No touchpad to be found.
• various function keys. No options for touchpad on/off.
• device manager<mice and other pointing devices. Again, only the mouse and usb show up. It appears the touchpad is working without a driver, which is a little spooky.

Any other suggestions? I could try downloading a third party driver, but that seems like a step in the wrong direction.
