Windows 10: Laptop Touchscreen Disappeared After Updates

I have a Dell Inspiron 15R 5537 with a touch screen that, up until recently, worked fine. I can't pinpoint exactly what caused the issue, but the touchscreen doesn't appear under the Human Interface Devices on the Device Manager anymore. I no longer have the option to toggle Tablet Mode on and off and the option to Calibrate the touch functions has disappeared off my system. Of course Dell want's to charge me hundreds of dollars to fix what is probably a simple issue, but their website doesn't offer any touchscreen specific drivers so I don't know what else to do. All the help I've found on the internet so far tells me to go to Device Manager and update the drivers on the touchscreen under the Human Interface Devices section, but the device isn't showing up there and I've tried the auto device detection feature several times with no positive results. Someone please help!

Cursor keeps disappearing on Windows 10 touchscreen laptop

I've been using a Windows 10 laptop for about a year, and the mouse pointer has been working fine up until now. My laptop has a touchscreen feature, but for some reason, whenever I use it, the mouse cursor will disappear and will only re-appear if I use
the mouse or touch pad. I've tried to disable and re-enable the mouse and touchscreen but nothing works. Any suggestions?

There are several ways to resolve touchscreen issues such us updating the driver, installing available updates or downloading the driver from its manufacturer website. For us to isolate the issue, we would like to ask the following questions:

• What is the build and version of your Windows?
