    Laptop turns on at random times.


    Hi, for a month now my laptop has been turning on while in sleep mode. When I go to event viewer, it says

    "Wake Source: Timer - Windows will execute 'NT TASK\Microsoft\Windows\UpdateOrchestrator\Universal Orchestrator Start' scheduled task that requested waking the computer."

    Is there an updated way that I can stop that from happening without downloading any software?

    New Asus laptop turns itself on at random times

    I've noticed, that at times, my laptop just turns itself on from Sleep mode during the night, or while in my backpack while I'm walking around the city... It is really unsafe and might cause some damage to laptop itself, since it is always in a 'laptop sleeve".

    What I assume this might be caused by is random Windows restart requirements, or other system based needs to reboot no matter what...

    Laptop - Asus UX305UA.
