Windows 10: Laptop turns on when plugged in + time stops counting when shut down

I have a bit of an unusual problem? This first started Sunday night. I shut my laptop down with no problems, fans and lights and stuff turned off -- literally everything to tell me that it successfully shut down. Didn't touch my laptop for 2 days because I got busy.

Yesterday, I plugged it in and it immediately turned on. Not like it woke up from sleep or anything, it went through the whole boot up process just because I plugged it in. Thought that was odd, maybe I did touch the power button but didn't remember. But when it finished booting I noticed that the time and date was stuck on when I shut it down last. Synced up the correct time, figured it was a one-time bug, whatever. Shut it down again last night, plugged it in this morning so I could use it, and the same thing happened. Definitely knew that I didn't touch the power button this time. It's just... weird. When it's on and running, my laptop is fine. I haven't run into any other bugs or anything.

I literally don't really know what to do here? I'm not up to latest update, but I'm not even sure if an update would fix this?

battery plugged in not charging

To resolve this issue, please follow these steps:

• Unplug Laptop
• Remove the Battery
• Plug in Laptop and turn on the laptop
• Go to Control Panel - Devices and uninstall all instances of Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control Method Battery
• Shut down Laptop and unplug it
• Insert Battery and plug in the laptop
• Start the Laptop

Laptop doesn't shut down properly


Over the past week, I realized whenever I would turn my laptop on, it would state that it was charging, which was weird since it stayed plugged in to an outlet all of the time. I tried to find what was causing this and it turns out, my laptop does not shut down properly. After shutting down via the OS, my laptop's screen would turn black but I could still feel heat being blown out of the exhaust. I searched the web for solutions and already did what was suggested: disabling Fast Startup in Power Options in the Control Panel. I have also reset the BIOS to its default settings. The problem still persists. Please help!

 

Laptop turn itself off

For some time my laptop(asus g751) shuts off automatically at different times sometimes 15 minutes (after turning on my laptop) and sometimes after 3 or 4 hour
My laptop was too hot under load but I 've got to stop Intel's Turbo Boost and the problem was solved
Is this a hardware problem?
