    Laptop update


    My laptop did an update last week and now it won't accept my pin number or my password. I tried changing my microsoft password from another computer but that doesn't work either.

    Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

    I will try that... do you think I have complete access to replace the monitor cable without dismantling the laptop from step 1? *Eek! Laptop update :eek:

    The update removed the sound on my laptop!: After the latest update there is no longer music during soundclips. This happened before and I found a way to fix it but can´t remember where I read it... I think it was something to do with uninstalling something and installing it again... How to I bring the music back??...
