    Laptop using excessively high memory and cpu


    Hello, i got a new laptop about a month ago and noticed it has been using around 80%-90% of memory with no programs open and 40%-70% cpu with no programs but windows device performance and health says I'm fine for some reason. I have 8gb ram.

    After creating a new account, yes. Cortana is still using excessive amounts of CPU, Memory, and Network, even with different users.
