Windows 10: Laptop using too much RAM

Hi!Currently I am using a 15inch HP Spectre x360 intel i7 10th gen from 2019, with 16gb of RAM and 512gb of internal storage, and running Windows 11. Recently, I've been noticing that my laptop is using a lot of RAM with little processes going on, and is getting a little bit slower or with some lags. Now I came to realize, that even after restart, my laptop starts using 6gb of RAM right from the beginning, and as soon as I start opening some apps, that number increases to 9 or 10gb of RAM without even doing some heavy work.I don't know if this is normal, or if there is anything I can do.I wi

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

 

To RAM or not to RAM...

Hey genesis what hardware have you bought, you might be able to save on the ram and step up the rest of the hardware a little...

Or you could go out on the town as suggested... *Big Grin
