Windows 10: Laptop WiFi connected, No Internet, Secured on only one device

I have recently bought a new laptop. It has been working perfectly fine, up until today when the internet stopped working. My desktop is connected and working using ethernet, and my phone is connected and working using the same wifi network, so I am pretty sure that it is windows or the laptop having issues. I have tried flushing the DNS, disabling IPv6, enabling Reliable Multicast Protocol, reinstalling drivers, reinstalling the device, resetting network, disabling firewall, and uninstalling antivirus.

There is no connection on any browser, and it just tells me that "DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NO_INTERNET". The troubleshooter has told me that DNS is unavailable, tried resetting the network, and now the modem is not working, but it obviously is since none of my other devices have issues. If it makes a difference, my laptop isn't showing up in the NETGEAR app in devices.

When will the wifi connectivity problems be solved?


OK, so the Windows 10 engineers bollixed up the wifi connectivity part of the operating system. Everybody knows that by now. It seems they are making some progress in resolving it. Now, instead of seeing "Secured, No Internet" on your list of wifi connections, you see "Connected, Secured" EXCEPT no webpages will load. So you really aren't connected. It does seem to be a step in the right direction. Does anybody know when they plan on a full and complete repair of this screw up of epic proportions?

The WiFi status that you've shared is usually associated with the connection of your device to your router. To better understand your concern about Windows 10, we'd like to know the following:

• If you're connecting to your home's WiFi network.
• If other devices are able to connect to the same WiFi network without issues.
• The troubleshooting steps that you've already performed on your device.

And please do check that is the connection problem is occurring with that specific WiFi router or with others too? Try to connect using different router, and if you don't have a router try connecting it to WiFi hotspot and test it.
I had that problem when my old-router stopped working I replaced it with new one and in a day my laptop HP-450 was unable to connect to it whereas all other devices were connected. At first I had the same feeling that my laptop was not working and tried every thing but nothing worked. Then I tried connecting to my WiFi hotspot and it worked even in long range. Then I called Dlink and got it replaced. With the new router I had no problems.
Also do check the number of devices connected.
