Windows 10: Laptop WiFi very slow and drops out constantly

I have been using my laptop for a while now and just recently the WiFi started to get very slow and started dropping out consistently.I have tried: - Updating WiFi Drivers- Disabled peer to peer updates- Repaired system files- Disabled Windows auto tuning- Disabled power optimisation on wifi driversI am currently using an Acer Aspire A515-45I suspect it could be a software issue, it has started recently and could be caused by a windows update but that could be irrelevant. sick of my laptop internet being slow and dropping constantly

I have the same problem here. Two Windows 10 tablet/laptops (one from Lenovo, the other from Acer) will drop their wifi connection constantly. The network environment seems not to affect the issue as at least Acer drops the connection with other Network as well. Usually troubleshooting wizard helps (resets wifi adapter), sometimes reboot is needed, sometimes the issue goes away by itself after a couple of seconds.

During the network problem, the available networks (SSIDs) are listed normally, but no data is really sent to network.

 

Laptop Dropping WiFi

The last couple of weeks I've all of a sudden started having issues with my laptop dropping WiFi. I don't know for sure if there was an update recently that may have caused it or not, but it's very frustrating. Turning off the wifi adapter and back on
fixes it temporarily, but only VERY temporarily is many cases.

Can anyone suggest a solution?

I have two machines, MSI GT80 SLI. They are configured identically hardware-wise.

MSI GT80 One: disk 1: Has dual boot Windows 20H2; disk 2: the previous version of 1909.

The 20H2 install has issues with the Killer 1535 wifi card. Constantly drops the connection. The 1909 version has no such issues.
Before I upgraded, I cloned the OS via Macrium.

MSI GT80 Two: Dual boots Windows 20H2 and a non-Windows OS. The 20H2 has no issues with the wifi card dropping the connection.

There is something specific to GT80 "one" machine 20H2 that breaks wifi. I thought it was hardware but it never is, since the previous 1909 installed on the very same box runs OK.

I compared both 20H2 installs on both machines and they look identical. Same patch level, same driver version. Machine "one" installed 20H2 today and machine "two" 20H2 got installed a month ago. Same startup programs, same everything. One works, the other does not.

I am not sure when wifi stopped working, it could be the 20H2 upgrade has nothing to do with it. Since the first 20H2 install works fine. But on the second 20H2 install, wifi works intermittently. It will work and then drop the connection without recovering it.
