Windows 10: Laptop Will Not Automatically Swap Into Tablet Mode, and Keyboard and Mouse Do Not Turn Off...

I have a Asus laptop Q504UA running Windows 10, and I'm having 2 distinct issues with it.


Firstly the keyboard and mouse do not turn off while in tablet mode, making it virtually unusable for digital art, as you're constantly pressing keys on the other side.


Now I'm having a new issue where flipping the screen doesn't even jump into tablet mode, I have to manually activate it regardless what setting I use. These are the only settings I have for Tablet Mode.


I currently have Windows 10 Version 10.0.17763 Build 17763

Tablet Mode Keyboard and Mouse

I have a 2 in 1 Asus laptop. When I bought it it came with Windows 8 and when I flipped it to tablet mode the keyboard and the mouse shut off automatically. Now that I updated to Windows 10 and want to strictly use tablet mode, the mouse and keyboard
still work. It causes the keys to type and the mouse to move on my screen when I am using the tablet. Is there any way I can turn them off when I flip to tablet mode, are they coming out with an update to fix that, or should I revert back to Windows 8?

We suggest you to follow the below steps to make the tablet mode permanent:

• Click start and select settings.
• Select settings and then select tablet mode.
• Now you have different options to choose from, please choose settings that suits you.
