Windows 10: Laptop will not boot to windows; Black Screen with cursor before login

I have an HP Laptop 14 dk1046nr which originally had an AMD Athlon Silver 3050U, 4GB of DDR4 RAM, and a 500GB
Hard Drive. I recently upgraded this computer to 8GB of DDR4 and a 256GB NVMe SSD, while still leaving the entire hard drive. I must not have cloned it correctly, because it first gave me a Recovery BSOD upon starting the computer with the error code "0xc0000225" saying that "winload.efi was missing or corrupt" after using GParted to copy both my EFI System Partition and Windows volume from the HDD to the SSD. After a lot of attempts to fix it from a windows 10 bootable USB, I got it to change to a black screen with a cursor which never gives way to the lock screen. Both Ctrl+Alt+Del and Win+R do nothing. Any Help is much appreciated, and I'd like to avoid reinstalling windows and/or my apps if possible, but I would be willing to do so.

I am in Windows 10 14393.2046 Build and during Boot I am Experiencing Black screen with a cursor and spinning circle ,having updated my Graphics Card Drivers Up to Date and Windows 10 1607 Cumulative Updates too.Since i didnt have any startup issues in
Windows 8.1 ,10240 as well as 10586 builds and i performed all troubleshooting steps and annoyed me.I can say that it is a windows issue and you have to sort it out ,only problem is

• Windows Logo Spinning Circle
• Black Screen spinning Circle
• Login

 

Laptop black screen with cursor before login

Hi All,

My laptop is running Windows 10 and I believe has tried to do an automatic update.

I can now not get to the login screen as I just have black screen, although I can see the cursor.

I have tried to boot in safe mode and have the same issue.

I have tried to reset the laptop to the last available reset point and have the same issue.

I have tried a factory reset but keeping files and have had no luck.

I have not tried a complete wipe as I do not want to lose files.

Any ideas?

Black screen no cursor or login

My Samsung laptop is technically switched on in the sense that it has power, however when I switch it on there is no login screen, no screen with the samsung logo, and no cursor. No matter how many buttons I press or how often I switch it on and off, it remains the same - black, power but nothing else. Any advice?
