Windows 10: Laptop will not run on new battery despite trying all fixes previously posted

I'm desperate to get my wife's computer to recognize and run off of a new battery. The computer is an HP Elitebook 840 G1 running on Windows 10. I've tried everything I cold find on various forums. Further lists of what I tried and various diagnostic screens are shown below. Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with your system's power settings. Please follow the steps below:

• Click the Start button> type Troubleshoot then press

• Under Find and fix other problems, select Power.
• Click Run the troubleshooter.

Also, provided the battery was genuine and was purchased from a certified reseller, we suggest that you contact your device manufacturer for further assistance.

Regions speech not available despite correct language pack install

The issue still remains unresolved, as English (Australia) simply does not show up in the list despite following all suggested steps to date (which I had done previously)

I would suggest you to contact your manufacturer regarding the battery issue. As of now you can power drain your laptop and check if it helps.

Follow the steps below:

• 
  Disconnect the AC Adapter.
  
• 
  Remove the Battery.
  
• 
  Hold the Power button down for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  
• 
  Reconnect the AC adapter.
  
• 
  Turn on the laptop power.
