Windows 10: Laptop Win 10 Mobile Hotspot Works for Connected Devices but Internet on the PC Itself...

I don't know if it's cause a recent update or what but when I turn on the mobile hotspot on my Windows 10 Laptop it still works fine when my cellphone or oculus connect to it, but the problem is when I turn the mobile hotspot on the internet on the laptop itself stops working now. I can't open browsers or anything on the laptop. I checked all the cables and hardware and it's all fine. I tried reset the entire network connection. Nothing has helped. Please help.

Using laptop as mobile hotspot sometimes internet does not connect

So currently I do not have a router available (I have a wired connection to the internet) but I want to be able to check emails on mobile through wifi. I found a link (How to Turn Your Windows PC Into a Wi-Fi Hotspot) showing how to use your laptop as a 'wifi hotspot'. When the laptop is connected to the wired connection at work and I switch on the mobile hotspot as shown in the website, I am able to connect to the internet on my mobile through my laptop. However, this does not work at my home.

I would appreciate any help given to solve this problem.

Internet is not connected in Mobile Hotspot

We can try the following ways to troubleshoot the issue:

1. Create a mobile hotspot and share it, how to create a mobile hotspot and share it, we can refer this article: How to turn your Windows 10 PC into a wireless hotspot
   
2. Is there some settings like "Allow all Users" when creating hotspot, if so we can try to enable it, then all devices are able to pick up hotspot connection.
   
3. All the devices or only one android device cannot connect the network name of this hotspot? If all the devices can not connect to this hotspot, it may be a problem with creating or sharing hotspots, if only one android device can not connect this hotspot, it may be the settings problem with this android device.
   
4. Is there a device that can find the network name of this hotspot?
   
5. If a device discovers this hotspot, when we want to connect to this hotspot, is there a prompt to verify the network name and password?
   
6. If the android device can connect other wifi or other hotspots, it may be settings problem with this android device.
   
7. We can try to add a hotspot network manually in the android devices, then we view if it can connect the mobile hotspot.
   

 

Windows Hotspot working / PC internet not working

I'm triying to set a wifi HotSpot on Windows 10 Pro 21h2 19044.1766 to give internet acces throught LAN cable form my PC, because a limited mobile connection on work zone

The net setup is:

Internet <---- LAN <---- PC <----Usb Wifi <----- Mobile Devices

With hotspot configured but not shared internet in adaptor properties I have internet on PC and not in mobiles devices

Just in the moment I change settings in network adapter properties into internet shared with Virtual LAN adapter (created with hotspot) I have internet on mobile devices, but I lost internet in PC





Realy, I have LAN access because via PING I reach other local networks but I can't access any remote server neither any web page.
It seems like firewall or MicroTrend Antivirus would be blocking connection outside brigde between (Virtual wifi adapter) <-> (Local LAN network)

In this PC I got this setup working for a while....I remenber I accept and firewall exception and then worked....but I can't allow this exception again

Any help would be much appreciated !!!
