Windows 10: Laptop wireless modul in desktop pc?

I would like to use in my stand pc with an ASUS Prime B350 motherboard a wlan module from a laptop as transition option, model azure wave aw nu222, has a 4pin connector. Is it that easy or does my PC not support such a thing? Thank you for your advice, I have not found such a rare idea anywhere else on the net... (I rather suspect not.")

Wireless laptop - wired desktop - internet

I'd recommend a wireless router. Plug the desktop into the router via wired cable. Plug your Internet device into the router. And then the laptop will have wireless Internet access.

Most desktops have wired integrated. Most laptops have wireless integrated. All you should need is a router and maybe some cables. Wireless routers start around $50 USD.

 

Microsoft Wireless Router Module - Keeps Installing Daily

Paola Gar, thank you for the response.

There is no listing in Device Manager for "Microsoft Wireless Router Module". However, there is a listing of "Unknown device" under "Other devices" which could be why this is attempting to install - however, there are no wireless devices/adapters/cards
on this PC.

My question did not get answered as to what is "Microsoft Wireless Router Module"?

Also, why does it show "successfully installed" in "Update history" but then keeps installing it daily?
