Windows 10: laptop won't boot... indicated a disk error

Discus and support laptop won't boot... indicated a disk error in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; I have an issue with my laptop... it won't boot, indicates a disk error.....     laptop won't boot... indicated a disk error


    I have an issue with my laptop... it won't boot, indicates a disk error..... I have been taking system image copies, last one Mar 2020.

    I don't recall taking a revery drive backup, just my system image...


    Q. Can I boot from the external hard drive where the image copy resides? If not, does anyone know where I can get a bootable drive

    in order to try and restore Windows ?

    Disk boot failure!!!

    You can format the disk with like fdisk or something. A linux disk would make more sense but you say it won`t boot....

    I would like to note that step 20 comes up with no files. Perhaps this could be the source of the issues?
