    I would like to note that step 20 comes up with no files. Perhaps this could be the source of the issues?

    HP Stream, Error Message "Selected boot image did not authenticate."

    I am having the same problem as the poster. Black screen with blue error message appears "selected boot image did not authenticate" and pressing F2, F9, F10, F11 or the drive elements button doesn't do anything at all. No new screens come up or different
    error messages. I've done the hard reset many many times. I've unplugged the hard drive and started the computer up and it automatically brings up a diagnostic on the black screen from F2 saying I need to connect a hard drive but won't allow me to bring up
    any other screens. I've reset the memory modules as well. Won't leave the black screen with blue error message to enter into safe mode either.

    I have a HP 2000-2d10NR Notebook PC with Windows 10
