    Laser Jet Pro MFP 130fw does not connect with desktop


    My Laser Jet Pro MFP 130fw does not connect with desktop. It uses a USB cord from the printer to computer and has only a telephone cord for faxing and a power cord. I have replaced the USB cord with a new one, unplugged and re-plugged the power cord and disconnected the telephone cord and the printer does not work. The Power Button gets power because the light blinks on and off, as if it is in standby. The power button will not go off or stay on when I press it. The power button seems locked in standby. My LED control screen on the printer is dark with nothing functioning on it.


    When I try to run diagnostics on the printer I am told it's not connected. All the cables are good, all the cabling is correctly connected to the right places. My computer cannot see the printer and vice versa. Is there a reset button or fused component some place on the printer that can be reset. The printer worked fine until today after a power outage over the evening.

    Does this mean a power blow out of the Printer control panel or is there a way around it?


    The printer is set as default, worked properly yesterday but now reacts to nothing.

    Is there a solution or just go and buy another Laser jet Pro?
