  1. Last 2 Updates have been corkers. Can't get the pc to accept them!?

The update about a month ago, I think ended in 3606 or something similar wouldn't install. I finally had to do a windows reset and then in the initial set up it loaded it. Now this latest one ending in 8379 or similar is doing the same thing. Loads up to 100% and then says it cannot finish the update and must undo all the changes. So a search done and a resource suggested if I really wanted to stop updates at this point windows 10 will get no more affter Oct 2025 anyway, you should use the Group Policy Editor. I follow the steps. Disabled a lot of update settings. I thought I'd done it well.

    :)

  2. Can't accept incoming calls - PC

    Hi Mike,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community. I understand your concern and I am glad to assist you.

I would suggest you to update Skype to the latest version and check if the issue persist.

As part of troubleshooting, run the Windows app troubleshooter and check if it helps.

    A. Try these steps to run the troubleshooter:

    • Type troubleshooting in the search bar.
    • Click view all in the left panel.
    • Select ‘Windows store apps' and follow the on-screen instructions.
    B. Try to check on your call settings by signing in to your Skype application. Navigate and click "Tools tab" --> click options --> look for "calls" then it will route you to "call settings". On the right page you will
see "Allow calls from, then choose from the two options . Anyone or contacts from your list.

You may also post this query on Skype Community Forums.
