Windows 10: Last night Windows Update December 9th, 2019 crashed my System.

Vent to bed last night instead of waiting for the update to finish. The Proces was just going through 42% but there was a line saying that it may take a while and to make sure the PC is plugged in.


This morning the system was shut off, so I started it up, and was greeted with "Attempting to Recover the Windows" screen followed by "Update Unsuccessful" and after that, another message "Auto repair can not repair the Windows".


Normal procedure including the Advance option did absolutely nothing to fix the problem.


Now I am faced with complete re-install of the Windows and Apps.


The software engineer and testing team should consider some other line of employment which does not involve sending half baked upgrades into the field to see how many of them will fail.


This is not the first time this happened either. I think I need to get off the Windows just to keep my sanity.


Maybe I should have a closer look at Linux or Mac. See how do they compare.


Anyone out there experiencing the same?

After update on July 9th 2019, Windows will not start

After the update on July 9th 2019, Windows will not start. Tried Startup Repair and restore and nothing works. Got an error code (0x80070020) Is there any suggestions please?

Only supported on Win10. Sorry, 8.1 users, only 4 years old, gotta go.
